When You Least Expect It.

We travel a lot in our various business, and travel health insurance isn’t something we really think about since most of the traveling we do is in the U.S. However, lately I’ve been having dreams of going to the ‘genesis’ of our goat business–South Africa. Well suddenly I’m confronted with the need to research travel insurance. It’s something most people don’t think about when planning out of the country vacations. Who expects accidents to happen? That’s when the do though, isn’t it? When you’re least expecting it. What I didn’t know is my normal insurance won’t cover me in foreign countries. I didn’t even know there were special travel insurance companies that offer short term coverage for the length of your stay in a foreign land. It’s good to know that I can rest easy on my ‘working vacation’ without worrying about accidents or health issues.
