If they do that to me once, shame on them, but if I let them do it to me a second time, then it's all on me for being a fool. I try not to harbor grudges, like with that one person who asked me to bring the horse with me and meet with her. I still see her on one of the forums I go to, and I TRY not to harbor a resentment, but although I'm civil, I just can not let myself warm up to her, or respond to any of her questions or even 'cute' posts. I'm not saying anyone who doesn't buy an animal from me is on my S*&! list, of course not, lol, but if they SAY they're going to and even have me jumping through hoops to help them with it, and then just don't show up, or call, or disappear... yeah, I can't help it, I resent it. I could never do that to anyone. Everyone window shops and as a seller you expect lots of emails or phone calls just feeling you out, or seeing what's available, but once you get into the I want it stage, and I will buy it stage, then you should be honestly meaning what you say.I agree Angie, me too. My mom drilled it into us while I was growing up that if you say you are going to be somewhere or do something, then you better follow thorugh. To this day I actually feel stress if I cut it close on following through. It's one of my pet peeves if someone else does something like say they'll pick up something I listed on Freecycle then they just disappear into thin air.
